The 2025 edition featured Indonesia, Myanmar, and Timor-Leste in a round-robin league format with no final stage. The winner was determined by the points table after 11 matches played over nine days at the Udayana Cricket Ground in Bali. Indonesia won this series. This specific edition was significant as it marked the T20I debut of the Timor-Leste men's national team, which had recently been granted Associate Membership by the ICC. The schedule was dense, likely to ensure sufficient matches for ICC ranking calculations. The series also served as preparation for the SEA Games 2025 in Thailand.

The tournament differs from other regional competitions in several ways.
