National Super League 4-Day Tournament (Sierra Leone) 2024/25

The National Super League 4-Day Tournament represents the highest level of first-class cricket within Sri Lanka. Organised by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), the competition was established in 2022 to replace the Major League Tournament as the premier domestic tier. It features five district-based sides: Colombo, Dambulla, Galle, Jaffna, and Kandy. These squads are not traditional clubs but are composed of players selected for their performance in the Major League Inter-Club Tournament, which acts as the feeder second-tier competition.

The structure of the tournament is defined by a double round-robin league stage. Each of the five teams plays every opponent twice, ensuring a balanced schedule before the final. The fixtures are played over four days, adhering to the standard first-class format. Following the league stage, the top two teams advance to a single final to determine the champion. Unlike many other domestic structures, promotion and relegation do not operate between the tiers. Instead, team composition is fluid, determined by player selection based on merit in the lower division.

Galle District stands as the most successful side in the competition's history, having secured titles in the 2023–24 and 2024–25 seasons. Dambulla District also holds multiple victories, including the 2022–23 campaign and the 2025–26 season. The competition serves a critical function beyond domestic honours; it acts as the primary pathway for player selection for the Sri Lankan national Test team. While the Major League Tournament remains the primary club-based competition, it sits below the NSL in the hierarchy. There is no title sponsor attached to the official name, distinguishing it from other SLC events such as those sponsored by Dialog Axiata.
