Pakistan Under-19s in Bangladesh 2023/24

The ACC Under-19 Asia Cup is a cricket tournament organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). It was founded in 1989, with the inaugural edition held in India. The tournament sits within the regional youth cricket pyramid, serving as the premier continental championship for Under-19 nations in Asia, distinct from the global ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

India is the most successful team in the tournament's history, having won the title eight times (1989, 2003, 2012, 2013–14, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2021). Pakistan won the 2012 edition jointly with India due to a tie in the final. Afghanistan won the tournament in 2017. Bangladesh emerged as the current champion, winning consecutive titles in 2023 and 2024, defeating India in the 2024 final.

Pakistan Under-19s and Bangladesh Under-19s have a competitive head-to-head record in recent years. As of late 2024, Pakistan leads the official head-to-head with 6 wins to Bangladesh's 2 wins in matches dating back to 2022. Notable encounters include Pakistan's victory in the 2023 bilateral ODI series in Bangladesh (4-1) and Bangladesh's win in the 2024 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup semi-final. The two teams have also met in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, including the 2020 group stage, the 2022 fifth-place playoff semi-final, and the 2024 Super Sixes stage, with Pakistan winning all these specific World Cup matches.
