SLC Invitational T20 League (Sierra Leone) 2021/22

The SLC Invitational T20 League is a domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in Sri Lanka, organized by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). It functions as a top-tier domestic event designed primarily to prepare the national squad for international fixtures, operating separately from the commercial Lanka Premier League which features city-based franchises.

The tournament features national team-based squads rather than traditional clubs. The participating teams are SLC Greys, SLC Greens, SLC Blues, and SLC Reds, all composed of national and first-class players selected by the board. There is no promotion or relegation system, as the teams are invitational. Matches are played under T20 rules, with each side facing 20 overs.

The format has varied by edition. In 2021 and 2022, four teams participated in a single round-robin group stage, with the top two advancing to a final. The 2025 edition shifted to a triangular tournament with three teams playing a double round-robin, followed by a final. Venues have included Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and R. Premadasa Stadium.

The tournament has no fixed annual schedule. It was held in 2021, 2022, and 2025. The 2025 edition was explicitly used as preparation for the 2025 Asia Cup.

Winners include SLC Greys in 2021, SLC Reds in 2022, and SLC Greens in 2025. Each winner has one title. Title sponsors have included Dialog and Skyexch.net. The competition sits above traditional club T20 tournaments in the domestic pyramid.
