Alexander David González Sibulo

Alexander González came through the academy at Caracas FC, making his professional debut in the 2009/10 season under coach Noel Sanvicente and winning the Venezuelan Primera División title that same campaign. He added the Copa Venezuela in 2010 and was named Best Young Player in Venezuela for 2010/11, when BSC Young Boys signed him in January 2012.

At Young Boys he made 33 league appearances, interrupted by loan spells at FC Aarau and FC Thun. In January 2016 he moved to Spain, joining SD Huesca in the Segunda División, playing 82 games and scoring 7 goals. He later turned out for Elche CF, CD Mirandés and Málaga CF, and had a brief stint at Dinamo București that lasted three months before Málaga took him on a free transfer.

In February 2022 he joined Armenian side Pyunik and won the Armenian Premier League title in the 2021–22 season. He returned to Caracas FC the following year, then joined Ecuador's CS Emelec, before signing for Carabobo FC as a free agent.

González has represented Venezuela since 2009 and has passed 60 caps, scoring against Bolivia in 2014 and Uzbekistan in 2023. He has featured at four editions of the Copa América, in 2011, 2016, 2021 and 2024, spanning the greater part of his international career at right-back.
