Alan Francisco Rodríguez Armoa

Alan Rodríguez broke through at Cerro Porteño as a teenager, making his professional debut in 2018 and going on to make 136 league appearances for the club, scoring ten goals from the back. He was part of the side that won the Paraguayan Primera División in the 2020 Apertura and the 2021 Clausura, before leaving in January 2023 for Rosario Central, a move worth around 750,000 dollars for half of his sporting rights, with Cerro Porteño keeping the other half.

At Rosario Central he added a Copa de la Liga Profesional winner's medal in 2023, taking his league appearances there to 70 with two goals. In February 2025 he moved on loan to Remo, in Brazil, for the rest of that season, making 15 appearances without scoring.

Rodríguez was born in Fernando de la Mora. He has represented Paraguay at youth level, featuring 11 times and scoring four goals for the under-17 side, a run that included the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, and adding four caps for the under-20s. He has since been called up to training camps with the senior national team, though he has not yet made his debut at that level.
