Brooklyn Sigel Raines

Brooklyn Sigel Raines was born in Monrovia, Liberia, and adopted by American parents at 15 months old, growing up in Chicago before working his way through Inter FC Chicago and the Barça Residency Academy in Arizona. His professional career started with El Paso Locomotive FC in 2021 on an amateur contract, where he made three appearances, before Houston Dynamo FC signed him as a Homegrown Player in February 2022 after acquiring his rights from Real Salt Lake for $50,000 in General Allocation Money.

He became a key player for the United States at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, where he played all five matches as the team reached the quarterfinals, scoring against France and setting up a goal against New Caledonia. He later captained the U-21 side in friendlies against Denmark and Serbia. He was also named a finalist for the 2025 U.S. Soccer Young Male Player of the Year and placed 21st on the MLS 22 Under 22 list for 2025.

On 23 December 2025, Houston Dynamo traded Raines to New England Revolution in a deal worth $1.6 million in cash plus up to $400,000 in contingent compensation and a share of future transfer fees. He started all 13 of his appearances in his debut season with the club, ranking sixth on the team in minutes played with 1,140. By June 2026, he had made 58 MLS appearances in total, with 40 as a starter.
