About the player
Túlio arrived at Chapecoense in July 2026 straight off a run of strong performances for Decisão in the Série D, earning him the number 9 shirt. Born in Recife, the left-footed forward worked his way up through a long list of smaller clubs rather than a traditional big-academy path, starting in the youth ranks at Santa Cruz and Íbis before moving on to Bandeirante, Nação-SC and Baraúnas.
Decisão marked the turning point. His form there across the 2023/2024 Série D season was what convinced Chapecoense to bring him in.
He shares his surname with two well-known figures in Chapecoense's history, Túlio de Melo and Túlio Maravilha, but is not related to either.
