About the player
Vini Paulista came through the youth system at Grêmio, where he joined the academy at the age of 11. He made the breakthrough to the first team in 2021 and picked up two Campeonato Gaúcho titles along with a Recopa Gaúcha.
When his contract at Juventude expired, Vini Paulista joined Coritiba as a free agent, with the move announced in December 2023 before he officially began the following January. No fee changed hands. That extension came shortly before Coritiba won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B in 2025, a title Vini Paulista helped the club secure.
He has not been called up by Brazil at any level, senior or youth, and his career so far has been built entirely on steady progress through the Brazilian domestic pyramid.
