Croatia Women

Croatia Women have spent more time waiting than playing. The side picked up full Women's Twenty20 International status from the International Cricket Council in April 2018, but a ban on the Croatian Cricket Federation between July 2019 and July 2021 kept them off the field, and the official debut did not come until June 14, 2024, against the Czech Republic at the Vinoř Cricket Ground in Prague. That tournament, the Women Central Europe Cup, produced the team's first wins — a 71-run victory and a nine-wicket win, both over the Czechs — set against a loss to Gibraltar. Growth since then has been uneven: in May 2025 Malta beat them twice in a two-match series, a reminder of how young the programme still is against the region's more settled outfits. There are no derbies to speak of yet; the fixtures that matter most are the recurring meetings with the Czech Republic, Spain, Serbia and Gibraltar that make up the European cricket calendar for sides at this level.

The team trains and plays out of the Mladost Cricket Ground in Zagreb, inside the ŠRC Mladost sports complex, run under the Croatian Cricket Federation.

Erin Vukusic captains the side. She plays her club cricket for Somerset Women and came up through the Western Storm Academy.
