Serbia Women's T20I Tri-Series 2026/27

The Serbia Women's T20I Tri-Series serves as an intermittent developmental tournament for national women's teams in the Balkans. It involves the sides of Serbia, Croatia, and Bulgaria, sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The competition grants official international status to the matches played, which are designated as Women's T20 Internationals (T20Is). All participating nations hold Associate Member status with the global governing body. The Serbian Cricket Federation (Kriket federacija Srbije) oversees the organisation of the event. The Serbian side gained full Associate status in 2017, a milestone reached after initially becoming an Affiliate in 2015. This specific tri-series appears to be in its inaugural phase for the 2026 season, scheduled to take place in Belgrade. The venue for the matches is the Lisicji Jarak Cricket Ground. For the 2026 edition, the format follows a double round-robin structure. Each of the three teams plays every other participant twice, resulting in a total of six matches. The primary objectives include player development and the accumulation of ICC ranking points. This arrangement supports regional cooperation in a sport that is still emerging within the Balkan region. The tournament is distinct from the European Cricket Championship, which operates under the European Cricket Network and utilises the T10 format. The Serbian federation was established in 2009, building on earlier regional engagements such as a bilateral series against Bulgaria in 2024.
