Eurofarm Pelister 2

The line back to 1946 runs through a name change most fans of the current club never use. What started as Pelagonija became Pelister in 1955, and stayed a single, independent institution for over six decades under the ownership of Bitola Municipality. That changed in 2019, when the municipality's club and the company-backed RK Eurofarm Rabotnik agreed to pool resources. The merger produced a new senior side, Eurofarm Pelister, and left the old Pelister structure without a first team to anchor. In 2020 it was renamed RK Eurofarm Pelister 2 and given a narrower job: bring through young players from Bitola and the rest of Macedonia rather than chase trophies of its own — the 14 league titles and six national cups tied to the Pelister name sit with the senior side, not this one.

It has already sent players worth naming. Kiril Lazarov, Filip Lazarov and Alem Hadžić all came up through this structure before their careers carried them elsewhere. That is the measure the club is judged by now, not a table position.

The shirts are still green and white, and matches are still played in the same city hall the original Pelister called home before any of this restructuring began.
