What the Indians carry today is the name assembled after that second collapse, in 1999, and what has followed is really two separate stories under one roof. The men's side has spent most of its life in the lower divisions, and its clearest mark on the record books came only this year, when the Oberliga title finally brought promotion into the DEL2 for 2026/27. The women's team, meanwhile, has simply kept winning: German championships in 2016, 2018, 2019, and then every year from 2023 to 2026.

Samir Kharboutli and Bence Farkas both came through the club's youth setup before moving on to Augsburger Panther and Iserlohn Roosters, and that Augsburg connection runs deeper than one transfer — Jaroslav Hafenrichter arrived from the Panther.

On the ice, the fixture that matters most is against HC Landsberg, played as the Nachbarschaftduell, with EV Füssen the other name that raises the temperature. Both teams' games are played at the Kutter-Arena, where 3,700 people can fit in, a thousand of them seated.
