Swedru All Blacks

The team traces itself back to a wartime service side, gathered together and given shape after 1945 by Nana Abena Gyimah, the Queen-mother of Agona Swedru, who put her name behind a football club for the town. Playing out of Agona Swedru in the Central Region under the black and white of the Black Magicians, a nickname better known locally as Agona Fankobaa.

Honours have never come easily. The one trophy of note, the SWAG Cup, was won in the 1997/98 season, and the club has gone without a Ghana Premier League title through its whole existence. Relegation from the top flight in 2009 kept them out of the elite for sixteen years, a stretch ended only when Swedru All Blacks won the Access Bank Division One League's Zone Two in 2024–25 and went back up.

Staying there was another matter. In the 2025/26 return season, survival came down to the final day.
