Dnepr Mogilev and Belshina played out a 1-1 draw in the Premier League's eighteenth round on Thursday. The home side took the lead in stoppage time before Belshina equalised almost immediately after, and the match ended level. By then the crowd had seen enough to keep their seats.
Belshina went ahead first through V. Solanovich, who converted a penalty in the sixty-seventh minute. Dnepr responded with two quick strikes of their own, both by N. Tereshchuk, one in the ninetieth and another two minutes into added time. There were bookings for Ilya Vikhrov early on and for Nenad Perović just after the hour mark, and five substitutions were made in the second half.
Dnepr Mogilev dominated possession at fifty-seven per cent and had nine corners to Belshina's three. The home side registered seven shots on target against four for the visitors, though only one of Solanovich's efforts found the net before Tereshchuk's pair. Shots accuracy was forty-four per cent for Dnepr and fifty for Belshina, and the hosts committed thirteen fouls while the visitors managed eleven.
Both sides remain in the bottom half of the table, though the points gap has narrowed. Dnepr sit fifteenth with twenty-one points from twenty-one matches, while Belshina are fourteenth on seventeen points after twenty games. The result does little to change their positions, but it does mean neither side has to look far for reassurance.
