Vihren secured a 3-2 victory over Hebar 1918 in the Second League regular season on Sunday. The result keeps the visitors top of the table while Hebar remain in 15th place after eight matches.
The opening goal came in the 37th minute when Hebar took the lead. Vihren responded quickly, scoring in the 50th minute to level matters. Hebar went ahead again in the 56th minute, only for Vihren to strike twice in succession - first in the 67th minute and then in the 82nd to complete the turnaround.
Hebar dominated possession at 62 per cent and registered 143 attacks compared to Vihren's 103. Yet the visitors were more efficient in front of goal, converting three of their eight shots on target against Hebar's three on target from eleven attempts.
There were six yellow cards in total - two for the hosts and four for the visitors. The disciplinary issues did not change the outcome, though they reflected the competitive nature of the encounter.
Vihren's unbeaten run extends to eight games with 18 points, five wins and three draws. Hebar have accumulated eight points from two victories and two draws, with four defeats so far this season.
