Lazio Come From Behind to Beat Udinese 2-1

Goals from Davide Frattesi and Albert Gudmundsson sealed a late turnaround at Udinese, keeping Lazio unbeaten and level with Roma and Inter after three rounds.

Lazio won 2-1 at Udinese on Monday evening, coming from behind in the last quarter of an hour to keep their 100% start to the Serie A season.

Jesper Karlstrom put the home side ahead four minutes after the restart, finishing from inside the box after Keinan Davis picked him out. Udinese held that lead until the 75th minute, when Mattia Zaccagni found Davide Frattesi in space and the on-loan Inter midfielder finished first-time into the roof of the net.

Frattesi came off five minutes later for Albert Gudmundsson, who had joined from Fiorentina in the summer. With a minute of normal time left, Gudmundsson turned home the winner to complete the turnaround.

Both sides had chances before the break. Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye saved a Zaccagni free-kick, while Christos Mandas denied Davis and Hassane Kamara at the other end. Injuries also disrupted the game: Udinese lost Jakub Piotrowski and Oumar Solet, and Lazio's summer signing Andrea Pinamonti went off in the 53rd minute for Tijjani Noslin.

The result lifts Gennaro Gattuso's Lazio to third place on nine points, level with leaders Roma and champions Inter after three rounds. Udinese, beaten for the first time this season, drop to 10th on four points.
