Tedesco banned two matches after Bologna row with officials

Domenico Tedesco has been given a two-match touchline ban and fined €5,000 after Bologna's 2-2 draw with Sassuolo on Monday, with President Joey Saputo suspended from all football activity until 30 September for his own conduct towards match officials.

The disciplinary commission's report says Tedesco, sent off from the bench for dissent, continued his protests towards the referee in the tunnel after the final whistle. Saputo is accused of directing offensive language at officials from the touchline and repeating it in the tunnel.

Bologna also picked up a €1,500 club fine over the same match. The Giudice Sportivo also fined Genoa €1,500, Venezia €4,000, Milan €3,000 and Roma €2,000.

Sarri also serves a one-match ban and a €10,000 fine for insulting the referee. He denied the allegation afterwards.

Bologna go into their next fixture without their coach and president in the dugout, the sanctions leave the club's leadership on the sidelines at an awkward moment.
