The 27-year-old was injured during training on Saturday. He underwent a scan that evening at the club's Juventus Medical Centre, and will have further consultations in the coming days to determine a treatment plan. No return date has been set, but a long lay-off is expected with an ACL tear.
Grabara had made just one appearance for Juventus since arriving on loan from Wolfsburg this summer, in the opening round of the Europa League league phase against NEC Nijmegen. Juventus won 5:0, and Grabara set up the opener on his debut.
The injury leaves Juventus needing cover in goal after signing him to challenge for the gloves.
