Police intervened at the Estádio do Dragão on Sunday after a confrontation between fans in the box area and the stand below it, during FC Porto's 3-1 win over Benfica.
It began after Porto's second goal, scored by Viktor Fröhholdt, the 20-year-old Danish midfielder who has 7 goals since joining in November 2025. According to Record, several supporters in the stand beneath the boxes on the eastern side traded heated words with people in the boxes, and some of the more agitated among them tried to get into that sector. According to Record, objects were thrown. Several PSP officers were needed to settle it. Police could not immediately determine the cause, diverting focus from the pitch.
One account has since come out. Daniel Magalhães, who says he is a Porto supporter and was in the group in the box, told Record the trouble started when a 4-year-old girl, a Benfica fan, celebrated Bah's header.
