Atlético Madrid sell Puric to Dubai's United FC
The Serbian centre-back leaves Atlético just a year after joining from Racing de Ferrol, following a promising loan spell and a first-team debut under Simeone.
Atlético de Madrid have agreed the sale of Aleksa Puric to Dubai's United Football Club, the club confirmed on Sunday.
The 23-year-old Serbian centre-back joined the rojiblancos in the summer of 2025 from Racing de Ferrol for €1m. He became a regular fixture for Simeone's Atlético Madrid side, which fell just short of promotion to the Segunda División's Liga Hypermotion.
That form, combined with Diego Simeone's need to manage a squad stretched by the Champions League and Copa del Rey, earned Puric a first-team debut away to Valencia at Mestalla.
Atlético's statement read: "Desde el club le agradecemos todo el trabajo y compromiso durante su etapa en el club y le deseamos mucha suerte en este nuevo reto profesional."
The move takes Puric out of Spanish football only a year after his arrival, closing a brief chapter in which a low-cost signing from Ferrol pushed his way into first-team contention at one of La Liga's biggest clubs.
