Pumas vs Atlético San Luis: starting line-ups revealed

Pumas and Atlético San Luis have named their starting line-ups for this afternoon's Liga MX fixture at the Estadio Olímpico Universitario, kick-off 27 September 2026.
Esteban Solari sends Pumas out in a 5-3-2, with Keylor Navas in goal behind a back three of A. Asuahe, Nathan Do Rego and P. Bennevendo. R. López and Uriel Antuna provide the width from wing-back, Israel Luna, César Huerta and V. Arteaga sit in midfield, and Juniño Vieira partners Luciano Herrera up front, with one of the pair dropping deeper to link play.

Rodríguez and Felipe Mora make up an attacking trio built for quick vertical balls into the forward line. Macías, also 27, has scored once since arriving at the same time as Galindo Cruz.
Pumas' extra body at the back against a front three built around Rafita and Mora sets up a contest between a side happy to sit in and break through Vieira and Herrera, and a San Luis team set up to press high and get in behind quickly.
