Kim Min-jae: Milan, Tottenham, Villa wait on Bayern decision

Milan, Tottenham and Aston Villa are all monitoring Kim Min-jae, and none of them can move until Bayern Munich decide what to do with his contract.

The claim comes from German transfer journalist Christian Falk, who spoke to CFBayern Insider, with MilanNews24 relaying it. Falk said Bayern have first call on the South Korea defender, who won the Scudetto with Napoli before joining them.

"I can confirm that Bayern Munich will be the first club with whom the player begins any negotiations."

Bayern's autumn contract talks are the point at which Kim's future is settled. Falk said it turns on whether the club offer him a new deal or count him among the players who could be sold to raise funds. All three clubs made contact over Kim in the summer, he said, but none made a concrete offer.

He does not expect a January move.

Ruben Amorim would find a use for him. A 1996-born centre-back with Serie A experience would fit a back three that currently runs through Koni De Winter, Strahinja Pavlovic and Mario Gila. For now, Milan are watching rather than moving.

This may mean that nothing happens until Bayern show their hand. If they put Kim on the list of players who could be sold, the three clubs that called in the summer would have reason to come back with an offer.
