About the player
Agustín Hausch made his first-team debut for San Lorenzo on 22 February 2020, stepping into a senior squad after coming through the club's development ranks. He went on to make 13 league appearances for the Buenos Aires club over the following seasons, staying in the squad through the turn of 2025 even as his opportunities in the side remained limited.
That stretch at San Lorenzo came to an end on 3 January 2025, when Defensa y Justicia confirmed his signing. Hausch's move was valued at 1.5 million US dollars in total, with San Lorenzo receiving 300,000 dollars for half of his economic rights as part of the agreement. He signed a three-year contract with Defensa y Justicia.
The switch put Hausch in position to fight for regular football at a new club after a period in which his appearances for San Lorenzo's first team stayed sparse.
