About the player
Anton Kurochkin came through the youth ranks in Sweden before making his senior breakthrough far from where he started: at Skoftebyns IF between 2000 and 2015, then at IFK Göteborg from 2016 to 2022. He moved on to IF Brommapojkarna in 2024 still searching for that step up.
It came quickly. Kurochkin made his debut for Brommapojkarna in the Swedish Cup against Brage on 16 February 2025, and by November he had reached 13 appearances and three goals for the club. He wears the number 17 shirt.
International recognition has stayed modest. Kurochkin has never been capped by Sweden's senior team, though he was called into training with the under-16 squad back in March 2019.
