Eight goals in 32 matches: that was Andreas Sejr Lausen 's 2024/25 with Esbjerg fB in the Danish 1st Division. A season later he played the same number of matches and scored three.
Lausen came out of the academy at Sønderborg Boldklub , where he stayed until 2017, before joining Esbjerg fB that summer. He spent four years in the club's youth set-up and played 26 matches for the under-19s in 2020/21.
In 2021 he moved to FC Fredericia and made 19 appearances in the 1st Division in his first season without scoring. The second was more productive: 22 matches and two goals in 2022/23.
Esbjerg brought him back in the summer of 2023, with the club then in the 2nd Division. He featured 10 times that season.
On 2 July 2026 he signed for Gil Vicente in Portugal on a contract running to 30 June 2030. The fee was not disclosed. He took the number 12 shirt and made his first two appearances in the Liga Portugal during the 2026/27 season, without scoring.
