About the player
Anthony Álvarez arrived at Delfín SC in January 2025 after coming through the club's own youth ranks, having played for Delfín SC's U20 side before the move up to the first team.
Between his time in the academy and his first-team debut, Álvarez spent time away at Club La Paz and CD Juventud Italiana, gaining experience outside the environment that had trained him.
An attacking midfielder comfortable operating as a winger, Álvarez wears the number 7 shirt at Delfín SC. He has not yet been called up to the Ecuador national team, and his career to date carries no honours, individual or collective.
