About the player
In March 2024, aged 18, he left FC San-Pédro on a free transfer for Crown Legacy FC, the MLS NEXT Pro reserve side of Charlotte FC, and made his professional debut a month later, on 13 April 2024, against Huntsville City FC.
He had come up through the youth ranks at San-Pédro, in the city of the same name. Two years in the United States gave him 39 appearances and two goals, plus a run-out in the U.S. Open Cup against South Carolina United Heat.
The second free transfer of his career came on 15 July 2026, when he joined FK Čukarički of the Serbian SuperLiga on a contract running to 30 June 2029. Crown Legacy kept a sell-on percentage in the deal. He has made one SuperLiga appearance for Čukarički in 2026.
Ouédraogo was born in Côte d'Ivoire to a Burkinabè father and an Ivorian mother. He holds Ivorian citizenship and is eligible to represent Burkina Faso. No individual awards or team titles have come his way so far.
One point of housekeeping for anyone searching his name: he is not Forzan Assane Ouédraogo, the German midfielder at RB Leipzig who won the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup and the UEFA European Under-17 Championship with Germany. Different position, different country, different career.
