Axel Gnapi

Le Mans gave Axel Gnapi his birthplace, but not his career path. Two appearances there marked the start of a run through the lower rungs of French football: two seasons at RC Grasse brought 30 games and four goals, followed by a spell at AS Furiani-Agliani that yielded no goals in eight outings.

The forward's numbers picked up as he moved on. At Racing Besançon he scored twice in nine matches, and at ASM Belfort in 2024-25 he managed five goals in 11 appearances.

In 2025, Gnapi left France altogether for Kosovo, joining FC Prishtina, where he scored twice in 17 league games. A subsequent move to KF Llapi proved more productive still: seven goals in 15 appearances.

That form led to his transfer to Fakel Voronezh on 16 January 2026, with Llapi Podujevë receiving a fee in the region of €100,000. He now wears the number 9 shirt in Voronezh. In his first spell with the club he has made 18 appearances and scored once.

Gnapi holds dual French and Ivorian nationality but has not represented either country at senior international level.
