About the player
He grew up in Koumassi, a suburb of Abidjan, and left home at eleven to join the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana. He spent seven years there, in the later stages with the academy's International Academy programme, which prepares graduates specifically for the step into professional football. Ivory Coast selected him for its under-16 and under-17 sides, and he played in a tournament in Montauban in 2024.
His route into MLS in February 2026 stayed within the same ownership group that had developed him: Right to Dream also owns FC Nordsjaelland, and San Diego FC signed him without disclosing a fee, an internal move of one of the academy's own graduates. He was given a contract through the 2026 season, with club options to extend it to 2029-30.
Zamble has not yet played for Ivory Coast's senior team, but he has said he wants to be part of its squad for the 2026 World Cup.
