About the player

Camilo Moya came through the academy at Universidad de Chile, making his first-team debut in 2016. Before he settled into the side, the club sent him out on loan twice: a spell at Getafe B in Spain in 2017, then a longer stint back home with San Luis in 2018, where he played 25 matches. That run of games proved decisive — he returned to Universidad de Chile and established himself as a regular in the middle of the park.

He left as a free agent in the middle of 2022, joining O'Higgins, where he stayed until the end of 2024. That December he moved on again without a transfer fee, signing for Union La Calera on a contract running to the end of 2026. He wears the number 5 shirt and plays as a central or holding midfielder.

Moya's only involvement at international level came with Chile's under-23 side. He featured in the 2020 South American Pre-Olympic tournament, playing three matches and scoring once, against Ecuador. He has not been called up to the senior national team.

He has not won a league title with any of his clubs. While at Universidad de Chile, Moya spoke of wanting to lift the championship with the club that developed him — a goal that did not materialise before his departure.
