About the player
Enugu State provided the start; Malta and the Czech Republic supplied the education. Chidera Michael Okoh began at Divine Praise FC in Nigeria before moving on to Mosta FC on Malta. He returned to Mosta to close out that campaign.
The 2022/23 season at Mosta stands out on the résumé: nine league goals from a forward still finding his level away from home. In August 2024 Asteras Tripolis signed him from Mosta.
Life at Asteras split in two. In the Greek Super League itself, opportunities were limited to two appearances, though one produced a goal against Volos in mid-December 2024, in a match Asteras won 2-1. It was with the club's reserve side, Asteras Tripolis B, that Okoh made his mark, finishing his debut season there as top scorer with 13 goals and three assists.
