Cristian Ramón Enciso Barreto

The promotion Cristian Enciso earned with Libertad F.C. in 2022 did not arrive in the usual way. Libertad finished third in Ecuador's Serie B, and the place in Serie A came only because the side that finished first, Independiente Juniors, was ruled ineligible over administrative issues. Enciso was part of that squad, and he stayed at the Loja club until 2024, making 49 appearances and scoring twice.

He comes from Pilar, and his first professional football was in Paraguay with 12 de Octubre in 2014, where he played twice. What followed was a career built across borders rather than in one league. A spell with San José in Bolivia in 2015 led to Sport Loreto in Peru, where he played from 2015 to 2016 and gathered roughly 47 appearances and two goals across the Primera and Segunda División.

In 2017 he joined Deportivo Caaguazú in Paraguay and signed with Tristán Suárez in Argentina, staying there until 2019 and recording around 33 appearances and three goals in the Primera B Metropolitana. He went back to Deportivo Caaguazú between 2019 and 2020, then played once for Fernando de la Mora in 2021.

After Ecuador came Club Aurora in Bolivia, about 38 appearances and two goals in 2024 and 2025, followed by a single appearance for Tacuary in Paraguay's División Intermedia. In January 2026 he joined UCV Moquegua in Peru as a free agent, taking the number 3 shirt, and by the middle of the year he had made 21 appearances in Liga 1. None of his moves has carried a documented transfer fee.
