A player signed as a provider of chances marked his Benevento debut with a hat-trick, in the Coppa Italia tie against Taranto.
At Rimini in 2023/24 he led Serie C for assists with 13 and added nine goals of his own; by one count he had a hand in 42% of the club's goals that season. Rimini had bought him for 20,000 euros and sold him to Benevento in July 2024 for around 300,000, according to Corriere Romagna.
Before that came the long apprenticeship. He joined Piacenza's academy in 2018 and played for the first team in Serie C from 2019 to 2023, making 70 appearances and scoring three times. There were loans out: 21 matches and a goal at Casale in Serie D in 2019/20, and a short spell at Chievo that left no statistics behind.
At Benevento the numbers changed shape. In 2024/25 he played 34 league matches and scored five in Serie C, with another in the play-offs, and finished as the club's leading assist provider. In 2025/26 he has gone further forward still: 37 appearances, nine or ten goals, four yellow cards.
He wore 73 in his first season at the club.
