About the player
Ezekiel Alladoh's path to Philadelphia Union began at the Atlantic Sports Academy in Ghana before he moved into professional football with Accra Lions FC, where he made his debut in September 2024 and scored his first goal within a fortnight of that. A brief stint at Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna followed in January 2025, a stopover that lasted less than a year before Philadelphia Union made their move.
The fee Philadelphia Union paid for Alladoh in December 2025 set a club record, at $4.5 million, an outlay that reflected the value the club placed on the forward. The deal was structured through to the end of 2028, with options to extend it further.
His introduction to Major League Soccer, in February 2026, was not the kind a club hopes for when it has just spent a record sum: Alladoh was sent off against D.C. United.
Internationally, Alladoh has been part of Ghana's youth setup, named in the preliminary squad for the WAFU U-20 tournament in May 2024.
