Emirhan Aydoğan

Emirhan Aydoğan found the club where his name would be tied to a trophy. He came through the Bursaspor academy and made his senior debut there in 2015, spending the next seven years split between the first team and spells away at Bandırmaspor, Yeşil Bursa SK and İnegölspor, the last of those a two-year loan in which he made 61 appearances and scored five goals. At Bursaspor itself he became known as one of the club's more combative young midfielders, finishing the 2020/21 season as the squad's leading ball-winner among its emerging talents, and left in 2022 with 69 appearances, 12 goals and four assists behind him. What followed was a run through the lower and middle tiers of Turkish football: Alanyaspor, Sakaryaspor, Altınordu, a return to Bandırmaspor and then Sarıyer, none of them lasting more than a season or two. The pattern changed at Batman Petrolspor, where he signed on a free transfer in the summer of 2025. It was there, in the final match of the 2025/26 campaign, that Aydoğan scored the goal that sealed the club's promotion from the 2. Lig's Beyaz group, finishing the season on 83 points. Across his time at the club he has made 34 appearances, scoring four goals and adding five assists, numbers in line with a player who has spent his career doing the unglamorous work in midfield rather than chasing goal tallies. Aydoğan also represented Turkey at youth level, appearing 42 times across the under-16, under-17 and under-18 sides without scoring, before his career settled into the club football that has now brought him a first taste of silverware.
