About the player

He never played a single match there. Instead he was sent straight back out on loan to Nancy, and the transfer later drew the attention of Belgian police investigating fraud allegations tied to Oostende's collapse, with both clubs linked to the same group of investors.

Biron's career started far from that controversy, on his native Martinique, where he came through with New Star Ducos before a spell at Golden Lion. A move to French football followed in 2019 with SAS Épinal, then Nancy a year later, where his form earned him recognition as Ligue 2's player of the month in November 2021. That form was what convinced Oostende to pay for him in the first place.

After the Oostende affair, his rights were sold on to RWD Molenbeek for 2.5 million euros in 2022. A loan to OH Leuven in 2024/25 was cut short before its natural end. In July 2025 he moved to Germany, joining 1. FC Nürnberg, and this summer he went out on loan again, this time to Turkey's Batman Petrolspor, where he now wears the number 7 shirt.

For Martinique, Biron has become one of the side's more reliable attacking threats. He featured at the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup and has scored in wins over Guadeloupe and Costa Rica, including a two-goal display against Guadeloupe. Across his international appearances he has built a scoring record that outpaces many of his club numbers.
