Elias Torres

Elias Torres grew up playing football far from Argentina's big footballing hubs, in the small town of Ucacha, in Córdoba province. His path into the professional game began at the local academy of Club Deportivo Atalaya, before he moved on to the Pablo Kratina football school and later played youth football at Jorge Newbery. He also had a trial at Boca Juniors before, in 2019, joining the youth ranks of Aldosivi, the club that would give him his start in senior football.

Torres made his first-team debut for Aldosivi on 3 May 2022, in a Copa Argentina match against Colegiales. Over the following three seasons he established himself as a regular for the Mar del Plata side, appearing 74 times and scoring 17 goals. That spell culminated in 2024, when Aldosivi won the Primera Nacional title and secured promotion back to Argentina's top flight, with Torres among the squad that achieved it.

His performances for Aldosivi caught the attention of Racing Club, who completed his transfer on 8 July 2025 for a fee of around three million dollars, covering 80 per cent of his economic rights, with Aldosivi retaining the remaining 20 per cent. Torres signed a contract at Racing running until December 2029 and was handed the number 22 shirt. His time at the club so far has been limited, with one league appearance and one in the Copa Argentina, as he looks to break into a settled Racing forward line.
