About the player
Ermir Rashica made his senior debut for Trepça '89 in Kosovo in August 2022. Over a season and a half in Korçë he scored 15 goals in 55 appearances, form that saw the Albanian Football Association name him the country's Talent of the Year for 2024.
That run of form led to his naturalisation for Albania, adding Albanian citizenship to his Kosovan nationality, and to caps for Albania's under-21 side, for whom he has scored four goals in 14 outings. He appeared for the under-19 team.
In February 2025, Metalist 1925 Kharkiv signed him on a contract running to 2028, wearing the number 19 shirt for his new club.
