About the player
Igor Kogut came through Dnipro's own academy, joining as a boy before working his way into the first team in 2013. He went on to make 22 appearances for the club, scoring twice.
In the summer of 2017 he moved across to newly formed SK Dnipro-1, and it was there that his career took shape properly. Kogut became a key player for the side, appearing in more than 120 matches and scoring over 20 goals from midfield. He won the Ukrainian First League with Dnipro-1 in the 2018/19 season and followed it with a runners-up medal in the Ukrainian Premier League in 2022/23.
Kogut also has international experience at youth level, having been capped once for Ukraine's under-20 side in 2016.
He joined Metalist 1925 Kharkiv as a free agent in July 2024. His time there was interrupted at the start of 2025 by a loan spell at Chornomorets Odesa, where he made eight appearances before returning to Kharkiv.
