Ezequiel Naya

Ezequiel Naya has spent most of his career away from the club that actually holds his contract. Signed by Estudiantes de La Plata in 2021, the forward has gone out on loan in five straight years.

The one spell at Estudiantes itself came in 2024, when he was part of the squad that won the Copa de la Liga Profesional; he made five appearances in that competition without scoring. Elsewhere, his numbers have generally read better than at home. At Nueva Chicago in Argentina's Primera Nacional in 2023 he scored seven goals in 32 matches, and in Peru with Deportivo Garcilaso in 2025 he added eight in 33 appearances. Both that loan and an earlier one at Sarmiento de Junín came with buy-option clauses attached, and in neither case did the host club take it up.

Naya went out on loan again in early 2026, this time to Central Córdoba de Santiago del Estero. He scored his first goal for the club against Platense on 20 April, and by the end of the season had made 15 appearances with two goals to his name. He has not been called up to any Argentina national team, senior or youth, and has yet to pick up an individual award.
