Édgar Felipe Pardo Castro

Édgar Pardo made his name as a right-winger who could beat a full-back and finish, a profile that carried him out of Colombian football and into two of Europe's more demanding leagues. He came through Atlético Huila before a spell at Deportivo Cali, then settled at Independiente Medellín, where he became a regular scorer and won the Colombian championship in the 2009 Finalización.

That form took him to Braga in 2013, where he reached a Portuguese Cup final, and then to Olympiacos for a reported 4.5 million euros. In Greece he won the league title in 2015/16 and reached the domestic cup final the same season. His clearest moment on a European stage came in November 2015, when he was named to the UEFA Champions League team of the week. A loan spell at Nantes followed in 2017, giving him a taste of Ligue 1 before he moved on to Mexico.

At Toluca and then on loan at Pachuca, Pardo continued playing regularly without quite recapturing his Olympiacos peak. He returned to Independiente Medellín for a second spell in 2022, then moved through Águilas Doradas and Deportivo Táchira before joining Alianza Petrolera in 2025.

At international level, Pardo won three caps for Colombia's senior side, scoring once, against China in November 2017. He had been involved with the national team much earlier too, playing at the under-17 World Cup in 2007, where Colombia finished fourth.
