About the player
Vila Real is not the most obvious starting point for a footballer's career, but that is where Fábio Vianna began, coming through the youth ranks of Abambres and Vila Real before moving into Benfica's academy and later Gil Vicente.
His career since then has been shaped by movement across leagues rather than by a settled home. It was there that he had his most notable moment on the pitch: with Farul, he reached the final of the Romanian Super Cup in 2023.
That return came at Sepsi OSK, who signed the left-back as a free agent and gave him a contract running to 2026 with an option to extend.
Vianna has not been capped by Portugal at senior level.
