About the player
Fabián David Cantillo Beleño made his name in Colombian football at Unión Magdalena, the club where he first broke into senior football and stayed on for several seasons, running the midfield from Santa Marta all the way into Primera B recognition. He was part of the Unión Magdalena squad credited with the Primera B title, a mark that stayed with him as he moved on.
In December 2023, Junior FC took him on loan from Unión Magdalena, a switch that put him in a bigger dressing room and tested him against stronger opposition week to week.
