Federico Vera

The move that changed Federico Vera's career came in August 2024, when Independiente paid around $1.0–1.1 million for 90% of his rights. His debut for Independiente came in a win over Estudiantes de La Plata.

Before any of that, there was Banco Provincial, a youth side in his home city, and then the long apprenticeship at Unión. He made his professional debut and scored his first goal as a professional on loan to Sportivo Las Parejas in the 2019–2020 season, in the Torneo Federal A.

He returned to Unión in 2020 and became a regular starter in the Liga Profesional Argentina, adding Copa Sudamericana football to his record. That run at right-back is the bulk of his career to date.

In January 2026 he joined Huracán on loan from Independiente, in a deal that carries a purchase option.

Vera has not won a major senior title, and he has picked up no individual awards. He has not been called up by Argentina at senior or youth level. His football has been played entirely inside Argentina, without a transfer abroad at any point.
