About the player
Giorgi Maghaldadze's path to Spaeri ran through three countries before it brought him back to Georgian football. He started his senior career at Belshina Bobruisk in Belarus, then moved on to Saxan in Moldova, before returning home to sign for Tskhinvali.
Back in Georgia, he settled for three seasons at Shevardeni-1906, a club that later became known as Samtredia, then joined Tbilisi 2025. It was from there, in February 2024, that he arrived at Spaeri as a free agent.
At Spaeri he wore the number 13 shirt and operated as a midfielder rather than further up the pitch. By the start of 2026 he had returned to FC Tbilisi 2025, also known as Varketili, going back to a club he had already turned out for.
Right-footed and standing at 178 cm, Maghaldadze has built a career defined more by movement between clubs than by a long spell at any single one.
