S. Gegiadze

He came up through Dinamo Tbilisi's youth ranks, where a spell in the U17 side ran alongside Georgia U17 caps, but knee problems held back his progress there. The move to Spaeri gave him the chance to rebuild, and it worked: since joining the senior squad, he has become the club's regular starter and leading scorer up front.

In Erovnuli Liga 2 he scored five goals in his first season; once Spaeri won promotion to the top flight, his output climbed sharply, with ten goals the following year and thirteen in the season after that, to go with a run of assists in each campaign.

That form fed into the club's biggest recent achievement — promotion from Erovnuli Liga 2 to the Erovnuli Liga, a rise Gegiadze was central to, and a Georgian Cup win with Spaeri in 2025. Georgia's U21 setup has since taken notice: he has earned a first cap at that level and was included in the squad for UEFA U21 Euro 2027 qualification, an international recognition that follows directly from what he had already done for his club.
