About the player
Gonçalo Silva is a goalkeeper in Porto's academy system. He arrived at the club in 2015 from Dragon Force and has stayed within the pipeline ever since.
The clearest marker of his progress came in the 2024/25 season, when he was first-choice goalkeeper for Porto's Under-19 side, starting 26 matches. In June 2025, he signed his first professional contract with Porto and moved up into the B team.
His senior involvement so far has been limited to a single appearance for FC Porto B in the 2025/26 season. Before that step up, he had already featured for the club's teams at Under-17 and Under-19 level.
Silva now wears the number 41 shirt for FC Porto B.
