Isak Dybvik Määttä

Määttä's route to Bodø/Glimt ran through the Netherlands. After coming through Aalesund's academy and breaking into the first team, he left Norway in July 2022 to join Groningen on a free transfer, where he spent two seasons and made 67 appearances. He returned home in July 2024, again on a free move, to sign for Bodø/Glimt, where he has since made over 60 appearances as a left-back.

The move back paid off quickly. Määttä won the Eliteserien title with Bodø/Glimt in 2024, and followed it with the Norwegian Cup in the 2025–26 season. His form there was enough for the club to tie him down long-term: in September 2026 his contract was extended until 2030.

Määttä's development started far from Bodø, through Fiskerstrand IL and Langevåg IL, where he made his senior debut for Langevåg's first team in 2016, scoring five goals in 13 appearances. Two years at Aalesund 2 followed, where he also contributed goals from the back before graduating to Aalesund's senior side.

He has represented Norway at youth level, with two caps for the under-18s and one for the under-20s, but has not yet been capped by the senior national team.
