About the player
Two seasons at TSC Bačka Topola made Ifet Đakovac's name. He scored 10 league goals in 2022–23, when the club finished runners-up in the Serbian SuperLiga, and 11 the following season — top scorer for the side in consecutive campaigns, and named in the SuperLiga Team of the Season for 2023–24. TSC had signed him from Zlatibor Čajetina for €55,000 in January 2021; four years and 126 league appearances later he left for €1 million.
The route there ran through the lower divisions. He came out of the youth systems at Sloboda Užice, Novi Pazar and Partizan, then spent 2016–17 at Zlatibor Čajetina, who won the Drina Zone League and went up to the Serbian League West. Two years at Tutin brought 70 appearances and 16 goals. He returned to Zlatibor in 2020 and won the Serbian First League.
The move to Akron Tolyatti in January 2025 took him to the Russian Premier League for the first time. The goals did not follow: two in 34 league appearances across a season and a half. He left in June 2026 for Vojvodina, citing personal reasons.
Born in Sjenica and Serbian by birth, Đakovac was naturalised by Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2024 and chose to represent them. His debut came on 19 November 2024 against the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League, a 1–1 draw; he came on for Edin Džeko. As of December 2024 it remained his only cap.
